Object Sorting, ages: 3-6 years
Watch your child create order by chaos helping them to develop order, concentration, coordination and order. This work helps young children visually discriminate between different kinds of objects and fine motor skills (great for handwriting strength!)
Ideal for children 3-6 years of age
Looking for at-home learning materials to have over the summer? The direct aim of sorting items is to develop order, concentration, coordination and independence. Indirectly this work aims to help your child visually discriminate between different kinds of objects; to introduce 1:1 correspondence and to refine the squeezing ability (fine motor) for future handwriting control.
Materials included: container with five compartments; 4 sets of colored apple buttons – 8 of each color; tweezers and presentation instructions.
